The Mountain Lawn- Great for outdoor Ceremonies
This is the most popular outdoor ceremony location at St Regis, and one we are very familiar with! The lawn is perfect for couples looking for a breathtaking outdoor ceremony location offering expansive views in three different directions (all of which provide a beautiful backdrop for exchanging vows). Situated just below the Mountain Terrace, this location flows seamlessly into cocktail hour, allowing guests to easily transition from the ceremony to cocktail hour. Additionally, its proximity to the funicular adds convenient accessibility for guests not staying at the resort. The natural beauty of this location, combined with its ease of access, makes it a perfect setting for a memorable outdoor ceremony at the St. Regis.
Outdoor ceremonies under The porte co·chère
The Porte co·chère serves as the main entrance to St. Regis, located just outside the front lobby. This space features distinctive details and architecture and serves as a wonderful ceremony location, especially when a weather backup plan is needed to protect both ceremony elements and guests from unfavorable weather. This covered entrance showcases the resort's blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, with stone pillars and wooden beams reflecting the surrounding mountain architecture and serves as a gorgeous backdrop for couples to exchange their vows.
The Mountain Terrace- Amazing Location for Cocktail Hour
The Mountain Terrace offers similar views to the Mountain Lawn and is perfect for cocktail hours and small receptions. Typically, guests will retreat up a short flight of stairs post ceremony and continue enjoying the outdoor views during cocktail hour in this location before retreating to the Astor Terrace for the dinner and reception.
Deer Crest Patio & Lawn
Deer Crest patio is adjacent to the main building, providing easy access to guests. This space is great for rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and farewell brunches as it provides a spacious, paved area with comfortable seating, fire pits for added ambiance, and panoramic views of the Wasatch Mountains. This spacious setting is great for intimate gatherings or larger events that can accommodate upwards of 200 guests. The lawn is a well-maintained grassy area surrounded by lush landscaping and provides a great space for lawn games, guest seating, or entertainment. Ideal for outdoor dining, cocktail receptions, and social gatherings, we love designing this space for ancillary events at St. Regis!

The Most Popular Dinner and Reception Location at St. Regis Deer Valley
The terrace is a favorite among our clients, and many of them choose to host their dinner reception here (but we have hosted smaller ceremonies on the terrace during winter months as well). The terrace is a great location with panoramic views year-round. It offers an open-air environment in the warmer months and a tented location in the cooler months. Having a tent on the terrace provides a plethora of décor, lighting and styling opportunities to customize receptions. And, depending on weather we can easily add or remove walls to accommodate guest comfort.
